RULES & CONDITIONS

We want everybody who visits Corner Stone Farm to have a good time and to remain safe.  This is a working farm and as such we ask visitors to respect the rules and conditions that have been put in place to keep everybody safe.

  • No person is allowed to play on or near farm machinery.
    NO person shall feed treats to any of the horses without permission.
  • No person is allowed to play on the bales of hay or in the hay barn (it can be extremely dangerous)
  • Check with Cathy or your instructor before going into any paddock or field.
  • Everyone is expected to clean up after themselves, sweep and tidy all areas. All tack returned to Tack Room, Tools to tool storage wall
  • Please respect the barn hours. 
  • We are CLOSED by 8 PM each day ( exceptions are show days) 
  • Closed Sunday by 6:30 pm
  • We are NOT open before 9:00 AM ( exception show days) 
  • Children will be supervised at all times by their parents or guardian with the exception of their lesson time if you are leaving the property you must inform the instructor.
  • Any cancelled lessons  must be cancelled at least 24 hrs in advance. Last minute cancellation of the lesson will be charged in  full, late for lessons you will be taught for have the balance of your time remaining in the booked spot you have.
  • If you arrive for a lesson and are not dressed adequately for riding or the weather conditions then clothes will be offered and the lesson might be shortened due to the time used for this.
  • Please do not allow your children to wander around the farm without supervision as we have a few ponds.
  •  PROPERLY SECURED RIDING HELMETS ARE COMPULSORY AT ALL TIMES WHILE MOUNTED ON ANY HORSE ON OUR PROPERTY EVEN IF IT IS YOUR OWN HORSE.
  • Some of the fences on the property have electric going through them, make sure your children and yourselves do not touch them as it will hurt.
  • ANY Garbage brought in must leave with you including Tim Horton Cups and debris. We have a one bag limit to live with too.
  • Recycle what you can, Compost can go directly in the manure pile (DO NOT Bag your dog's gifts. )
  • We want you to have fun and be safe please do not hesitate if you have any questions or concerns about anything.
