Low-heeled boots for riding .The boot must go higher than the childs ankle and do up securely.(i.e. well fitting rain boots, hiking boots,
Your child will be assigned a “cubby” shelf to store their camp stuff for the week. A med. Size Rubbermaid tub works great for keeping everything in place and together. ** Please put your name on all of your belongings.
Snack
Drinks ( plenty because they work up a thirst, reusable plastic can be re-filled during the day with water)
As an environmentally friendly camp, we recommend that you bring a "garbage free" lunch in reusable containers. Food garbage gets blown in the wind and may cause an animal to choke.
Pants to ride in ( track pants, tights or riding pants )
Light gloves (recommended for protection while riding. Inexpensive "stretchy gloves" are fine.) Older running shoes for play/barn chores
Water/wind proof jacket
A full change of clothes ( shorts and a t-shirt)
A warmer top ( sweat shirt)
Insect repellant
Sunscreen , Sun Hat
Barn shoes that they can hike and play in.
Bathing suit and towel ( for water games)
Optional:
A camera to take pictures and memories home with your child
